Focused mornings create focused days.
Simple.
Yet for years I started my mornings exactly the opposite way.
Before I was fully awake, I was already checking emails, thinking about meetings and reacting to the demands of the day.
The result?
Most mornings I already felt behind before the day had even started.
Over time, I realized that the way I started my mornings often determined how the rest of the day unfolded. When I began the day in reaction mode, I spent the day reacting. When I began with intention, I felt calmer, more focused, and more energized.
That's why I stopped reaching for my phone first thing in the morning.
Instead, I try to spend a few minutes with a simple routine:
✅ A glass of water
✅ A little movement
✅ Three deep breaths
✅ A clear intention for the day
Nothing dramatic. Nothing complicated. Just a few intentional minutes before the world starts demanding my attention. I've found that these small moments create a surprising amount of energy and clarity for me.
One Small Step: Tomorrow morning, before you check your phone, pause for a moment and ask yourself:
"How do I want to show up today?"
You might be surprised how much that one question changes your day.
Small steps create lasting change.
